16. HOW YOU SHOULD PREPARE

If you are a beginner, don't study all subjects randomly.

Use this order:

Phase 1 — Build Basics

English
→ Grammar + Vocabulary

Maths
→ Arithmetic fundamentals

Reasoning
→ Basic question types

GK
→ Static GK + basic Science + Polity + History

---

Phase 2 — Question Practice

After learning a topic:

Learn → Solve examples → Solve PYQs → Check mistakes → Revise

Do NOT just read theory.

SSC preparation requires question-solving speed.

---

Phase 3 — Previous Year Questions

After completing the basics, solve SSC CHSL previous-year questions topic-wise.

Keep a notebook called:

"MY MISTAKE BOOK"

Whenever you make a mistake, write:

1. Question
2. Your wrong answer
3. Correct answer
4. Why you made the mistake
5. Shortcut/formula if applicable

Revise this notebook every week.

---

17. BEGINNER DAILY STUDY PLAN

If you can study 4 hours daily:

Time| Subject
1 hour| Maths
1 hour| English
45 minutes| Reasoning
45 minutes| GK/Current Affairs
30 minutes| Revision/PYQs

If you have only 2 hours:

Time| Subject
40 min| Maths
30 min| English
25 min| Reasoning
25 min| GK

The most important thing is consistency, not studying 10 hours for two days and then stopping.

---
